Shun violence: ZIFA urges Bosso and Dembare supporters

ZIFA urges Highlanders and Dynamos supporters to shun violence when the two Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League giants clash at Barbourfields this Sunday.

Xolisani Gwesela, Zifa’s Communications manager says the tie between these two giants is undeniably one of the biggest matches in the PSL as it is deepened by the close chase at the top of the log.

“The match between Highlanders and Dynamos will be undeniably one of the biggest matches in the Premier Soccer League. We therefore encourage the spirit of fair play in all teams.

Gwesela further urges all teams to encourage their supporters to remain calm, whatever the result of the game.

He adds, “We also encourage the Police to be on top of the situation and prevent any violent scenes in our beautiful game.”

Soccer analysts and supporters believe this game will decide which team will lift the league championship. Because of this, Bulawayo is already gripped with excitement of hosting local football’s biggest derby.
