Do not use muti in football games

Cases of muti and dirty tactics against other teams in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) are worrisome.

It is unfortunate that in this age there are people who still believe in dirty tactics and muti when football is played and won on the pitch.

Dirty tactics and muti should have no place in modern day running of football because employing these practices keeps management, technical teams and players away from working hard to solve their on and off-field problems.

The PSL management therefore, should put in place measures to ensure that the use of dirty tricks and muti is not practiced in our game.

Instead of using these methods to win the game, they should work hard and try and win these games fairly.

Teams in the PSL should be conscientised that matches are won based on their planning and training.

Accordingly, teams should focus on hard work, raw talent and discipline because the use of muti is a waste of resources, money to be specific.

The large amount of money used for muti should be used to motivate players, improve management and develop soccer infrastructure.
