Be Resourceful, African Urged.
Lazarus Sauti
Africans have been urged
to transform their mind-sets and utilise their intellectual skills if they are
to tackle challenges bedevilling the continent.
Speaking at the opening
night of the ‘Africa Must Think’ lecture series in Harare, Ghanaian author, Dr
Samuel Koranteng- Pipim said the solutions to Africa’s problems lie in focused
action and a transformed mindset, more policy blueprints and more focused minds
not merely talk.
Organiser of the series, Tafadzwa
Nyikadzino believes the series comes at the rightful time for the country.
He said, “The initiative
comes at the rightful time as Zimbabwe has come up with the ZIM ASSET policy
document which might be a panacea to local challenges.”
The ‘Africa Must Think’ lecture
series is a four day session that will run until Friday.
